Catering for you: It’s what we are passionate about !

Based in the rural Buckinghamshire village of Great Brickhill, the Bistro offers a range of menus for local delivery, afternoon teas and event catering. We also operate a cookery school for children and adults featuring a range of traditional and Internationally influenced dishes.

My passion for everything to do with creative cookery started in my teens. My Mum was always juggling being a full-time teacher with raising a family and had very little spare time.  Family meal-times consisted of a menu rota. Monday was left over roast, Tuesday - Macaroni cheese, Wednesday - sausage and mash. The highlight of the week was the Friday night trip to the Fish and Chip shop. 

Slowly but surely I started to experiment in the kitchen and to understand that creating my own dishes was a thoroughly rewarding experience. I'm raising two teenagers of my own now, and I hope I'm passing on to them some of the basics of home cooking.
